Project #10 Denim Hot Pad

#10. Denim HotPad:
1.  Cut 2 squares of 9x9”denim (non-stretchy denim works best).  Cut 1 square of thermal batting, 8x8”.  Cut fabric decoration of choice.
2.  Sandwich batting evenly between denim squares.  Pin together.  With pins, add fabric decoration (flower, square, or other shape)
3.  Using a zig-zag stitch, sew around fabric decoration.
4.  Sew a double row of stitching around the outside of the hot pad.  Cut small clips around edge of fabric for even fraying, or clip with pinking shears.

Extra Miler: Make at least 4 for a set to give to someone special who cooks for you :)
